I was editor for a bunch of tech 'zines like PC Magazine, PC Week, MacUser, A+, Wired, and CNET. I've also written 12 tech books, co-hosted an AM radio talk show with Leo Laporte, and was a tech correspondent on NPR's All Things Considered.

I started my first business, Fred's Breads, at 9. I was a distributor for Rip-Off Press in high-school. I ran a major orchid business and plant tissue culture lab instead of going to college. I wrote the first book on Desktop Publishing. I had one of the first 100 websites. More TK.
